Post the successful activation in Guwahati, Xerox India consolidates the volume business in Bhubaneswar

Xerox India, part of Xerox Corporation, world’s leading enterprise for business process and document management strengthened its presence in the state of Orissa and rolled out a roadshow in the ‘Temple City’ of Bhubaneswar last week. The event part of the company’s Go to Market channel activation plan for 2011, for the volume business received overwhelming response and was attended by over 120 resellers and partners spanning the state of Orissa.  Xerox also showcased a strong portfolio of solutions in A4 mono and color lasers targeted at SME’s and Enterprise businesses.

Addressing the meet, Mr. Kuldeep Malhotra, Associate Director – Volume & Supplies Business, Xerox India Ltd said, “Orissa has a strong base of manufacturing, education, outsourcing industries and backed by a strong IT advocacy from the Government, there is a growing need for IT hardware and associated services. Furthermore the state has presence of key national distributors and sub-distributors that reach out to these audiences. With our first consumer outreach program in Bhubaneswar we intend to increase our market share and brand equity for Xerox India by the end of 2011. We are also looking at strengthening and expanding our channel base in the state so that they meet up to the growing demand of the region”

Commenting on the solutions portfolio he added, “The products that were showcased at the roadshow are aptly suited for the business critical needs of the SME’s and Enterprise in the region. We have over 100 products in our portfolio all of which are targeted at meeting particular needs of our customers.”

As part of the activation program for resellers and channel partners in the state of Orissa, Xerox India will provide direct pre-sales/post-sales support to these partners to deliver maximum benefits to customers. With the partner engagement model, Xerox India will ensure that these partners are well trained and are equipped with collaterals to enable them to sell Xerox products and services. Xerox India will also look at co-branded marketing seminars and customer events to support the partners in these centers. The partner loyalty program of Xerox will ensure that they are rewarded on achieving their targets.
