Epson, a world leader in digital imaging and printing solutions has launched the fastest all-in-one photo printer in its entire printer lineup – the Epson Stylus Photo TX720WD, which succeeds its International Forum Design Award 2009 winning predecessor, the Epson Stylus Photo TX700W.

The new photo all-in-one printer retains the key strengths of the previous model by featuring the fastest print speed in all of Epson’s inkjet printer series, capable of producing up to 40 pages per minute (ppm) for both black and colour text and a 4 x 6 inch photo in 10 seconds1.  However it improves on its award-winning predecessor with a new integrated duplex printing module that helps users conveniently save paper, and a new stylish flat touch pad.

The Epson Stylus Photo TX720WD achieves high print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dots per inch (dpi) with Epson’s proprietary Micro Piezo™ print head technology, enabling the printer to produce stunning photos with high clarity and smooth colour gradation for a perfect print out.

High Performance Epson Micro Piezo™ print head with Variable-Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) – The Epson Micro Piezo™ print head found in the Epson Stylus Photo TX720WD achieves a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi and the VSDT (Variable Sized Droplet Technology) allows the print head to eject ink droplets in up to five sizes. These capabilities ensure the greatest detail and extremely smooth gradations in photographs.

Epson INKdividual™ Cartridges reduces cost – With Epson’s INKdividual™ cartridges, users can choose to only replace inks that have run out instead of the full set of inks. This reduces ink wastage and helps users to maximize cost savings.

Productivity Enhancing Speed – The Epson Stylus Photo TX720WD helps users save time by offering efficient print speeds of 40 ppm for black and colour A4 text documents in draft mode. It is also able of producing 4 x 6 inch borderless photos in 10 seconds (draft mode), enabling photo enthusiasts to print out their favourite photo album in a few minutes.

Epson Claria™ Photographic Inks – Users can enjoy long lasting brilliant printouts while using the proprietary Epson Claria™ Photographic inks as they are water, fade and scratch-resistant2, allowing photographs to be preserved up to 200 years3.

Wireless Network Connectivity – With integrated Ethernet and wireless capabilities, the Epson Stylus Photo TX720WD can be shared with multiple PCs, eliminating the need for personal desktop printers.
