Airfone Unveils its first Open Market CDMA Handset

It is with this advancement Airfone as the company’s tag line suggests “The Future is here”, surely brings the future of mobile phones to the consumers doorstep. Airfone has entered in the OMH CDMA Market for the first time. It is first phone in the series is cd3i. It is the first single sim handset by Airfone.

The very new and one of its kinds of CD3i CDMA phone is now out in the market for you to use and enjoy the new technological advancement only by Airfone. This new CD3i handset enables the user to use this handset with any of their CDMA number unlike the already available CDMA phones that a user can only use if the handset is of the same company.

The new Airfone CD3i phone is the first ever CDMA by Airfone and it can be used with all CDMA operators as it is an OMH (Open Market Handset), based on qualcomm chipsets.

Few of its interesting features are its screen size of 4.5cms, an inbuilt camera with 1.3 MP and a high stamina battery of 1800mAH with a standby by of 30 days.

This handset has a FM Radio & 3.5 mm jack with a 1000 phone book memory. It’s memory can be expanded upto 4GB and has all the facilities of SMS’s, call black list, SOS messaging along with answering machine too.

According to Mr Vishal Chitkar, Director, Airfone India Ltd.“With this handset we enter into a new category. We want to target the existing consumer base of CDMA subscriber who do not get much choices for handsets.”
