Apeejay School of Management Celebrated Hindi Divas
Apeejay School of Management recently celebrated “Hindi Divas” to sensitize the students’ community about the importance of Hindi language in business and life. On this occasion a lively programme was presented by the students in which they presented poems highlighting the importance of Hindi as a national language.
Students presented skits on the various socio-cultural issues to mark the occasion. Besides a few students recited their poems. The theater group leader Yashika won the first prize in the skit competition on the day.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Alok Saklani, Director Apeejay School of Management, emphasized the need of staying in touch with Hindi language which is connected to our cultural life.
A Chief Guest on the occasion, Professor D.N.Bajpai, Director AIT, observed that Hindi language can progress only if we provide a little latitude in accepting words from other languages just as in English. Professor Kamal Kishore presented the vote of thanks at the end.
