Within 48 hours of its launch, NDTV’s iPhone app has become the most-downloaded app in India.  It is also performing very well internationally:  No 1 in UAE, no 16 in America and No 10 in the UK in the news genre.

NDTV is India’s first TV broadcaster to launch an iPhone app.  It is available as a featured app in the iTunes AppStore and more details are available at http://ndtv.com/iPhone. While the current version gives access to daily video updates from the world of news, entertainment, cricket, lifestyle, business, gadgets and health, an updated version will be available within the next 3 weeks which will support live streaming of all NDTV channels including NDTV 24×7, NDTV India, NDTV Profit, NDTV Goodtimes and NDTV-Hindu.

The NDTV iPhone app brings you breaking news, stories and videos live from the NDTV studios in India. Award-winning journalists and technology combine to report  on Politics, Business, Cricket and Bollywood. The app also connects the user to NDTV Social – where users can talk directly to anchors and reports.  iPhone users can also shoot and upload their stories to ndtv directly using the iWitness feature in the app.
