India’s first reality show on ‘Health and Hygiene’

Dettol collaborated with NDTV Imagine to bring the first reality show on health

Dettol Surakshit Parivar, a unique infotainment reality show on ‘Health and Hygiene’ kick started on 15th of May on NDTV Imagine. The 13 episode series is based on a unique concept that has been put together by Dettol, the iconic health brand from the stable of Reckitt Benckiser and NDTV Imagine, a leading national TV channel.

The objective of the show is to spread awareness on everyday germ protection. The programme will be aired weekly and will talk about various health issues related to personal hygiene and wound care. The series covers 13 different aspects of hygiene in the show like home, travel, work, school, mother, baby, toddlers, seasonal allergies, cuts & wounds etc. Dealing with day to day situations, the show will impart education on health & hygiene with interesting elements like questions from the viewers, family segments and expert advice from Dr. Rajiv Thukral-Senior Consultant, Max healthcare.

The show has been produced and directed by M5 Entertainment; an upcoming media firm specializing in Advertiser funded programming (AFP’s) and Brand placements in films and television shows. The series is hosted by Rakshanda Khan, popular television star.
