Amway India inaugurates 9th Health & Beauty Brand Assessment Centre in India
Amway India Enterprises Pvt Ltd, today inaugurated its first Health & Beauty Brand Assessment Center of Tamil Nadu at Chennai. With this centre, the total number of Brand Assessment Centres in India goes up to nine. Situated at SIDCO Industrial Estate, Guindy, Chennai, the center, offer a virtual tour of Health & Beauty products.
Addressing media persons, Mr. William S. Pinckney, MD & CEO, Amway India, said, “Amway India recorded sales turnover of Rs 1407 crores in 2009, the twelfth year of business in India, growing 25% over the previous fiscal. We witnessed a significant growth in Q1-2010 with net revenue of Rs. 435.35 crores as compared to Rs. 330.40 crores in Q1-2009, registering a growth of 32%,” said Pinckney. He added that Brand assessment centres – such as the new one at Chennai – gave the consumer a touch and feel of Amway products as well as the experience, and that the presence of Amway ads on TV had led to a surge in interest in Amway products. “Amway focuses on four key strategic pillars to drive growth – business excellence, the consumer experience, the distributor experience and products and brands. This brand center will communicate Amway products’ feel, features and values through live demonstrations and unlimited training to business owners and consumers. This center is a unique experiential branding initiative to enhance brand visibility and awareness on Amway products.”
Apart from providing business, product information & purchase to Amway business owners the brand center is equipped to provide skin assessment and consultancy from Skincare expert. A nutritionist will offer consultancy on Nutrition and fitness regime. Some sophisticated health checkup equipments like, Carada Scan machine for checking body fat, BMI machine for checking bone mass density, will be utilized to provide health and lifestyle assessment.
