Reliance Communications to usher in India’s first and only Mobile Jockey Portal as its latest VAS offering

Mumbai, April 30, 2010: Reliance Communications, India’s largest and only telecom service provider to offer nationwide GSM and CDMA services today announced the launch of India’s first and only Mobile Jockey Portal as its latest VAS offering to its subscribers. This new service is all set to up the scale of RCom’s mobile entertainment sphere by ushering in the first of its kind Mobile Jockey Portal to millions of music loving customers.

Initially, RCOM will launch Hindi Mobile Jockey, Telugu Mobile Jockey and Malayalam Mobile Jockey Services. The Mobile Jockey Service would be the perfect match for any special occasion and would provide a common platform to callers to share their emotions and views with someone live, on-air.

The service has been launched across all Reliance networks. Other language Jockeys will also be available soon.

The Mobile Jockey would be equipped with lots of Chat subjects like: Page3 (Media Gossips), Naye Andaaz (Current trends), Fashion, Marriage, Education & Food recipe. Other interesting topics that can be covered during the conversation include: General topics, Friendship, Current events, Trends in Present Life, Personality Grooming, Movies & Music, Career & Household tips.

This 24 Hour Live service allows callers to call anytime from anywhere.

The Mobile Jockey “M J” service gives callers a platform to open up and chat live with the Mobile Jockey on any topic of interest. The Mobile Jockey’s magical voice will come as a great reliever of everyday worries and tensions and refresh the listeners with News, Views, Gossip and Fun. They further get a chance to connect with new friends via this Mobile Jockey Portal.

This service would be provided in total confidentiality and would probe the caller to open up easily to ensure greater call length by keeping the interest going of the caller.

The cost of this service would be Rs. 6 per minute.
