CAREERS360, the careers magazine published by Maheshwer Peri through Pathfinder Publishing India Private Limited is going places. Having launched the first magazine from Pathfinder, Careers360, in English, Maheshwer Peri is all set to launch the Hindi edition of the magazine. Careers360, since its launch, has redefined the journalism in the education space and brought in education journalism into mainstream from the fringes. The magazine has also won a lot of praise from all sections
The Hindi edition of the magazine, a monthly, is priced at Rs.15/- (the English edition is priced at Rs.40/-). Commenting on the pricing strategy, Maheshwer Peri said ‘Hindi is a price sensitive market. Besides, we also wanted to achieve high circulation for this magazine and the Hindi market presents a huge opportunity, if rightly priced. We hope to raise the prices after a few issues”. The magazine would also have specially developed content for the Hindi market besides the excellent content created for the English magazine.
The launch issue, features on its cover ‘India’s best students’. These are people who have used education to empower themselves and through their belief and convictions about the power of getting educated, have become powerful and inspirational at the same time. The cover story features Dr.Manmohan singh, Dr.Kalam, E sridharan, Dr.Mashelkar, Dr.Romila Thapar amongst 40 other people. Each story is an inspiration by itself.
Careers360 has been launched with a belief that the only democratic tool for empowerment in a country like India is education. The mission of Careers360 is to enable development and growth of education in India in a systematic and transparent manner. The magazine also aims to fill the information gaps for students and parents by telling them what to do and what not to do, in an environment where conflicting claims rein through the media landscape.
